Open WinEdt and find its options
You can find this Options menu on the top of this application, then you can find a Theme item.
Select a theme item
You may find some themes have been installed in WinEdt, each theme will display a special backgroud color. You can find a one for yourself.
Then you will find the backgroud of editor is changed.
