WordPress Add Custom Fields to Quick Edit – WordPress Tutorial

In this tutorial, we will introduce how to add our custom fields to quick edit using wordpress plugins.

Preliminary

First, we should install and activate two wordpress plugins: ACF QuickEdit Fields, Advanced Custom Fields

For example:

Add custom fields

Then, we can add our custom fields by Custom Fields.

For example, we will create a new custom field called URL:

Add custom field to quick edit

Then, we can add our custom field to quick edit in Presentation.

In this example, we will add this custom field to post type “Paper“. Then, we will find this field is added to quick edit.
